Optilab’s This evaluation board is designed specifically for the APD-10, providing a streamlined testing process. It grants easy access to all 8 pins, including the RF data output ports. The board is securely mounted on a base plate, offering the flexibility to seamlessly integrate into other structures using the four 1⁄4-20 threaded-through holes. The Optilab APD-10 is a high-sensitivity APD-TIA receiver enclosed in a fiber pigtail package. It houses a high-speed InGaAs avalanche photodiode and a high-gain TIA within a hermetically sealed coaxial package. This design incorporates an LC/UPC pigtail and a flexible printed circuit (FPC). Notably, the APD receiver electrically isolates the signal GND and a receptacle for enhanced functionality.
