The Optilab polarization state controller (PSG) is based on the electro-optical modulation of high-performance x-cut lithium niobate technology. It can transform any arbitrary optical input polarization state of the device to any arbitrary optical output polarization state when suitable control voltages are applied. The polarization controller devices consists of 2 or 8 cascaded integrated polarization modulator stages, each stage has the transmitted beam polarization adjusted through the voltage applied on the 3 RF pins in the stage at an ultrahigh speed. This lithium niobate polarization controller device features the high-speed and low loss and so plays significant role in modern optical application
